Ted Lieu certainly hits home the most often and in the most substantial fashion, of the people mentioned.

I'd be very happy to vote for him as Senator, if he was interested in the role. I'm not in his district, so have never voted for him to date.

He does it on MSNBC, preaching to the converted, Mayor Pete goes into the lions den and eats its lunch on FOX. I always have a smile when Pete’s face is gracing FOX, I know an as ski king is coming.

A scandal erupted this week about his connections with a Chinese spy. So maybe now is not a great time.

The story was broken by Axios who aren't exactly right-wingers.

Edit to say: At the moment, there's no evidence Swalwell did anything improper. The Obama administration warned him about the spy in 2015. But the story just broke this week, and so people are trying to suss that whole thing out. Conservative media are having a field day.

So now may not be the best time to be tossing him up on news shows.
