Why Trump Might Just Fade Away

“Business journalists know that many of Trump’s ventures quickly went bankrupt, and that he would now be much richer if he had simply invested his inheritance in the S&P 500. But to most Americans, the host of The Apprentice is an entrepreneur who built a grand empire thanks to his incredible business sense.

“Now, however, Trump’s veneer of invincibility is fading. He lost his bid for reelection, and staged the most incompetent coup attempt since Woody Allen’s Bananas. He can rant and rave about what happened in November, but he can’t keep his followers from seeing Joe Biden inaugurated in January. Fear of what he might attempt next is giving way to laughter. He looks weaker and more scared by the day.”

We all know he wears diapers because of incontinence, however I remember reading a while back somewhere that he won't let anyone else take the sheets off his bed.

He wads them up in a ball and throws them directly in the laundry basket. At first, I thought it was strange, but now it makes perfect sense. He probably literally craps the bed on a regular basis.

Ugh, he is just so disgusting.

to discuss. However, I read a while ago that only Ivanka is allowed in his bedroom for the first 90 minutes of the morning. I am guessing that is to get rid of the sheets, and then to monitor the lengthy orange makeup and platinum hair styling. This also gives us some logic to the fact that he had locks put on his bedroom doors, first time ever in the WH. NOBODY gets to come in and see what happened overnight.

... among the kGOP and to think the kGOP would distance itself from Red Don for being Red Don is laughable.

That's like DNC distancing itself from Obama for being Obama, that would earth splitting politically cause the DNC wouldn't be any longer.

The politico and DC kGOP are tired of Trump but its Trumps cult that the kGOP are scared of and KNOW a primary win would mean a kiss of Putin's Whore's ring to win.

Look at Rubio, he's getting a head stupid start

And parties. Agree that it is about Trump's cultists, of course!

Most of them are authoritarians and/or aggressively antagonistic populists, drawn to what they thought was a strongman who'd lead them to victory, smashing us into oblivion as they took over the nation, etc. Didn't work out that way.

Masha Gessen, an expert on authoritarian behaviors, says though they'll support almost anything the one thing they won't forgive is discovering they've backed a loser. Which brings us around to this article.

And to W. They stayed loyal to him right up to the last weeks of his second term, but when he didn't pull the miracle they were waiting for out of his string of beshitted (useful word) failures and turn them into winners, their support finally but quickly collapsed. The lowest figure I saw was 12% on the last day or so.

Btw, Rubio and others are discussed as an authoritarian successor to Trump, but a WaPo writer pointed to Tucker Carlson's great popularity with them and thinks he could be a real contender.

way to run for President without ever becoming a President. And that is where REAL SERIOUS money is to be made to maintain his lavish lifestyle. He doesn't even have to skirt any laws: he already raised $170 million from right wing morons, and he just now announced he is running in 2024. No loans, no bankruptcies, no money laundering, no under the table deals with Saudi royals, no threats of lawsuits required. The idiots are voluntarily and gleefully parting with their hard earned cash for the asking. All Trump needs to do is pretend to run for President, until he no longer does. This was his biggest mistake in '16: he never intended to be President, but he was too vain to drop out of the race at the appropriate moment. A mistake he lived to regret. Rest assured, it will never be repeated.

but I do expect him to go to Florida for Xmas and not come back, "you bastards don't deserve a genius like me" and more. That way, we didn't throw him out, he left and we can all FOAD for all he cares.

I just hope Biden is smart enough to appoint independent prosecutors to look into things like security breaches and profiteering during this administration. It's the very least ha can do if he doesn't want a repeat of this at this sort of horse shit by the next Republican.

I had a severe narcissist as a supervisor. Down to the EXACT same facial expressions, he was no different from Rump. He was forced out because his sociopathic caught up to him. In the lead up to his departure, he was openly threatening the organization with lawsuits because “he knows where the bodies were buried”.
Once the spigot of attention and genuflection was turned off, he just disappeared.

I really do expect the same thing.

He'll insist that Republican officials attend, and many of them will.

He'll say "the White House is a dump anyway", and use his dumb followers' money to remodel Shart-a-lago to look like the white house.

Hell go on the air, (either take over for Rush or perhaps OANN or maybe get Vladdy Warbucks to buy him a television station), where he will rail against the "coup" that the democrats perpetrated. He'll charge an exorbitant subscription fee for this "service".

And, as in the past, he'll use social media to spread his disinformation in order to stay relevant. He probably won't use Twitter since they have an annoying habit of putting a warning label on lies, and may even make good on their threat to force him to follow the same TOS that mere mortals are held to.

Unless he goes to jail, I don't see him going away. Attention is like oxygen to him. He'd die without it.

I agree he will still be sucking the airwaves on Jan 20th and for awhile afterward, but it won't last forever..

I'm actually worried that he won't leave the WH...

Sure the SS could throw him out, but would they??? I can picture everyone not knowing what to do. It will be a media sensation. It will be, "No body has ever done this before". The SS will not want to use force, so it will become some kinda of standoff...or more or less squatter situation. Trump won't be president, but he won't leave to WH....

Wolf Blitzer will give play by play of, "We are looking to see if Trump will leave the White House." "Trump is looking out the window...Wait do we see movement...."..."Now we see crowds gathering outside..".."This is quite incredible"..."We now see some secret service standing around outside"...."Wait...now Mike Pence is going inside" ...On and on it will go.....

He is a one-trick pony and people are getting bored with him and his insanity. People can only stand to be fired up for so long. Eventually the passion will die and they will find something or someone else to divert their attention to.

I can't really explain it, but I just have a feeling that he's done. I could be wrong, but I think his luck is finally running out and so is his appeal to the uneducated, unenlightend masses. He is a crashing bore and I think even they are beginning to tire of him.

The man is a loser. A world class loser in every way. I really think he will fade into oblivion, which is his greatest fear. I am looking forward to it with a raging feeling of schadenfreude.
