Just sayin'.......

Too much navel gazing about this debate....Romney avoided stepping on his dick for once....in a campaign that has been a non-stop series of disasters, that alone makes it SEEM more important than it is...I think back to 2008 VP debate for comparison.

Palin was widely expected to self-immolate on the stage with Biden. She delivered her well-rehearsed lines and came out of the low-expectations with people thinking, "Hmmm....maybe she's not a complete idiot after all..." That response lasted about a week. The EXACT SAME FATE AWAITS MITTENS!

The only thing that I found profoundly striking about this debate was the way Romney was able to pull a fast one on Obama regarding a total refutation of his previously advertised 20% across the board tax-cuts. Mr. President...THAT is what we would call an easy target. President Obama stayed with the $5Trillion figure too much after ROmney reversed himself....the right move there would have been to hang that flip-flop on Romney's neck and make him OWN it.

The fact is that Romney came out looking better than he should have only until he ends up once again walking it back to appeal to the base and the donors who found out tonight that Mitt won't stick to his promise to cut their taxes when its politically inconvenient!
