FBI team may be forced to keep tabs on Trump trading intel for favors: MSNBC analyst
During a segment on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” national security expert Ken Dilanian explained that an out-of-office Donald Trump is a threat to the United States and that incoming President Joe Biden might be forced to ask that an FBI team monitor his movements out of fears he will trade top secrets in return for favors from foreign governments.
Speaking with host Joe Scarborough, Dilanian said Biden is already being faced with the question of whether he will allow Trump to receive reports from U.S. intelligence services as has been the custom with previous presidents once out of office. “What my national security sources say he fits the security risk, he’s deeply in debt and you have people like former Bush administration official Jack Goldsmith openly speculating that Donald Trump may well sell secrets,” Dilanian reported. “Goldsmith told me he’s worried that a foreign country will put Trump on retainer to get the information in his head. As we know, Donald Trump is more than $400 million in debt and it’s held by a foreign bank with ties to Russian oligarchs — so there’s that question. But even if you put that aside and say, look, Donald Trump is not going to commit a federal crime and sell the secrets in his head or some he might get, but then there’s the record of indiscretions and carelessness with classified information.” “I think it certainly would be reasonable and rational for intel — the intel community — to be concerned that this guy could trade information through a third party to be able to get — start building a tower in a country that wants desperately needs information from the United States that they can’t get,” host Scarborough interjected. “So what in the world could be done?” https://www.rawstory.com/2020/11/fbi-team-may-be-forced-keep-tabs-on-trump-trading-intel-for-favors-msnbc-analyst/ Microchip him and put him under every known type of surveillance under the sun 24/7. Trump would sell our country down the river for a cheeseburger.

1. Demonstrate the case he was sloppy with intelligence as President
The conversation over dessert, pointing out the nuclear football for pictures, and blowing up the Israeli asset with the Russian ambassador are three that the public already knows about. He is not entitled to receive a single piece of intelligence after he leaves office on Jan. 20th., 2021.
I am afraid of what he can trade before Jan. 20th. If he keeps no paper and has no access to the data, then I don't think he can spill very many beans after Jan. 20th. Before then he has almost carte blanche. |

3. Not to mention giving security clearances to people who couldn't pass the check
Jared, Ivanka, and some others IIRC.
Those will be the people to watch out for, I think, since I have my doubts about what sort of intel Donnie even retained (although anything he had access to might be worth something, even fuzzily remembered). It's also why he shouldn't get the sort of reports other ex-presidents can get. Who else is he letting listen/read it? |

2. Gee, ya think? He's always been a security risk...
we've known that since 2015 when all this started.

4. It will be interesting to see whether he refuses Secret Service
There would normally be a detail assigned to him as an ex-president. Imagine an FBI agent going undercover as part of that detail. That would probably be a first.

5. The easiest way is to feed him some false intel
that would help Trump appease his creditors and see what happens.

6. Trump doesn't give a shit about the country or the people. He will sell the US out to save his ass
from all of the debt he owes. He's always been a threat to the US, dangerous as hell. Too bad the idiots that still support him can't comprehend what's going on.
