"His presence and his pride and his sort of unfettered joy.."

The photo and his words are moving. I feel like crying, tears of joy. Their relationship and their new jobs might just help women to be recognized for the strong accomplished persons they are. It is a role reversal and she stands out front with her husband standing behind her every step of the way. I am having trouble conveying how I feel. The photo truly speaks to me.

Hell. We elected some very fine people. Biden/Harris.

"His presence and his pride and his sort of unfettered joy in the ascent of his wife is quite a remarkable sight, I think, for everybody — not just for women, but for men and for boys to see, too."

Before the election, when Emhoff took questions from kids online in the "Ask a Grownup" video series, a 9-year-old named Atticus posed this hypothetical: What would you do if your wife became vice president?

"Well first, I'd say YAAAYYY!" Emhoff replied. "And then I'm just gonna do what I always do, Atticus, I'm gonna support her. Because it's really important for men and even young boys to support the strong and wonderful women in their life."

I love it!

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like Republicans never exude that kind of joy. Such a grumpy party.

I'm a female, and I did not have that in my life. But I'm so glad to see that girls and women are getting so much more support.
