🚨BREAKING: Sharpiegate III DISMISSED. Reminder, this was a lawsuit filed by two Republican voters who claim they were unable to have their vote counted.

Trump and his allies are now 2-33 in post election litigation.

2. I am sorry - what are the 2?

I think I read 1 of the “wins” was the observers for Agent Orange were able to stand a bit closer to observe, if that is 1 what is the other? And if that is not, what are the 2?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge - I thought I was on top of the “goings on” but I guess not.

Thanks in advance for any reply.

3. The one you mentioned is not a win.

They dismissed that complaint after acknowledging they were not blocked from observing and worked out a deal to stand closer.

The one win I know of is the 3-day extension for PA voters to correct ballots that were postmarked by election day and received 3-days thereafter. It impacted about 650 votes. (Technical interpretation of the law.)

The second one must have come today - I don't know what it was. I'll see if I can find out.

ETA: Decision in PA

Absentee voters in PA are requried to attest to two things. 270 voters only made one attestation. The Election Code is very clear that provisional ballots cannot be counted unless both are signed. (Marc Elias says it impacts 2349 ballots - not sure why the discrepancy)

ETA2: The 270 ballots (the order in the 2nd Trump win) v. 2349 ballots (the number given by Marc Elias) appears to be be a confusion based on two lower court decisions that ordered the counting of 2349 ballots with a technical deficiency - and (in a second case (same judge)) ruled in favor of counting the 270 with a different technical deficiency. The appellate court reversed the decision on the 270 ballots - the second Trump win.

The lower court decided in favor of the BOE based on allegations that voters should not be penalized by erroneous directions by election workers (alleged to have told them that only one signature was necessary). The appellate court held that BOE provided no evidence to support that voters were provided incorrect information - AND - that even if they had the statute is clear about the consequences of signing only one of the attestations.
