These fucking GOP bastards! Trump Campaign Sues Homeless Nevada Presidential ElectorTrump Campaign Sues Homeless Nevada Presidential Elector in Latest Push to Challenge Results
resident Donald Trump's campaign is mounting a fresh legal bid to prevent the certification of votes in Nevada. A new lawsuit names the state's Democratic presidential electors as defendants. One of those named is Gabrielle d'Ayr, a former chair of the Clark County Democratic Party who says she is currently homeless. - Newsweek Link to tweet Just when I thought I couldn't be shocked any more by GOP deplorables. 6. So she'll produce proof of NV residency. No excuse for
the wannabe fascist victors, pf course, but some rules are there for good reasons. And of course villains will always try to misuse any tool they can find.
Reminds me of some attendees for one candidate at NV Democratic Party caucuses in 2016. Routine checking for everyone revealed some were not only not registered as Democrats but some didn't even live in Nevada. One guess, yup, right: Dirty NV Dems were the ones trying to illicitly steal the elections that time also by foiling The People. And after they'd come so far! ![]() |

12. World of difference between competent people who find themselves
without a residence and those with chronic problems caring for self. Two months should be a worthwhile experience, but glad it wasn't more like two years. A perfect storm of a mess some are likely to find themselves in this time.

29. :) Just slightlly different from a schizophrenic friend who,
faced with the need to pay either her car payment or way-overdue property taxes on a wonderful home she owned outright, let the house be seized because she would need the car to live in when she was evicted.

8. It's the old Trump strategy of...
using lawsuits as financial weapons.
Defendants have the choice of going broke hiring lawyers, or simply giving in. Despicable... |

15. If she is dismissed, doesn't the Nevada Democratic Party just select another Elector?
The state's electors were awarded to Joe Biden. Bottom line.

16. How can they sue the electors when they haven't done anything yet?
The vote counting is done by the state. The electors have not yet met.
On the Monday after the second Wednesday in December, the individual Electoral Colleges in all 50 states will meet to officially cast their votes. This year's meeting in Nevada will take place on Dec. 14 in Carson City.
Nevada is one of 33 states with a law requiring electors to vote for the winner of the popular vote in the state. According to FairVote.org, if an elector opts to vote for another candidate, there is no penalty, but their vote is canceled and they are replaced by another elector. (Sinclair NBC link - but I think it's accurate in this case) https://mynews4.com/news/local/who-are-nevadas-electors-in-the-electoral-college-and-when-do-they-meet Are electors now expected to get legal representation, and take the time and worry of answering a lawsuit when they've done nothing yet, and are required to follow the results the state gives them? |

A fine of $5 million per lawsuit sound about right.

that's been raised on Limpball, FUX, and toxic social media. Look at the MAGATs who stormed DC this past weekend -- looked mostly in their 20s and 30s. Look at that little shit who just won a House seat in Western North Carolina... not sure if he's even 25. His first tweet after winning was something like "Cry, liberals."
