Pennsylvania Supreme Court Overturns Trump's Only Election Lawsuit Win
BY JASON EASLEY
Pennsylvania Supreme Court Overturns Trump’s Only Election Lawsuit Win https://www.politicususa.com/2020/11/17/trump-election-lawsuit-win-overturned.html "SNIP..... The Pennsylvania Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling on the only election challenge that Trump has won. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, “In a 5-2 decision, the court overturned a lower court decision that ordered monitors with President Donald Trump’s campaign be allowed within six feet of tables where ballots were being tallied. In its opinion, the Supreme Court found that the Philadelphia Board of Elections complied with requirements for observer access from the moment the first votes were counted.” Trump is now 0 for 25 in his legal challenge to the results of the election. It is clear that Trump has no evidence that the election was anything other than a free and fair total rejection of the incumbent. Trump might be making history as the first candidate ever to lose every single election challenge that he has brought. Trump is zero for everything. He is quickly running out of legal venues in Pennsylvania. The Georgia recount/audit is not expected to change the results in the state, as Trump is getting shutdown and running out of playing field to keep the charade of a legal challenge to the election results going. .....SNIP"

1. Someone said Rudy just wants a whole pile of decisions againts Trump
he can then appeal all the way to the Supreme Court. How does that work? Are thete not several layers of judges they have to get through first?

5. That wouldn't be possible because there are so many cases
brought on different grounds, involving different state laws and different legal issues, and they would all have to go through several layers of different courts. I can't imagine any way to consolidate these cases - unless Rudy intends to petition for certiorari separately after getting shot down by the layers of lower courts. I think he is just trying to gum up the works to keep states from certifying their election results.

9. Gumming things up to prevent certifications of elections? And then they make a push to
have legislatures designate an electoral college delegation favorable to Trump.
Sometimes I feel we are just whistling in the dark here. |

23. These suites don't stop certification, and even...
... if the SCOTU were to take one or two up, they dont have to schedule them until later in the term. The probably don't want to be involved.

11. As Bush v Gore shows you only need one case.
You need one GOOD case though. The Dumpster fire approach to this legal battle like all things Trump is unlikely to do anything but piss of judges and make SCOTUS not to come within five miles of any case.
Also unlike 2000 overturning a single state would not be sufficient. This is Trump being ignorant and small and pathetic and not being able to admit he lost. He is a loser. |

16. Good luck with that!
The Supreme Court doesn't take cases that they want no part of. This election would be one of them. Any of these cases would immediately go into the circular file.
Rudy, of all people, should know this and he does. This, for him, is a money grab, nothing more, nothing less. He has to, at least, show his client that he is all in no matter how ridiculous they both look. |

20. Dumdum wanted his stooges seated at the table and poring over every ballot
in an attempt to toss any with any irregularities from a dog eared corner to a stray pencil mark.
Dumdum is a micromanager of the worst sort and most of these suits are complaining about his stooges not being able to do that for him. Party observers are always kept at a distance so they won't get in anybody's hair and he's just going to have to deal with that. At some point, even that senile old crook Giuliani is going to have to tell him he lost. The sooner that happens, the better. |
