"SNIP.....

“For nearly two years, allies of President Trump have been exploring ways to build up a formidable competitor to Fox News. One target they recently zeroed in on: the fledgling pro-Trump cable channel Newsmax TV,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“Hicks Equity Partners, a private-equity firm with ties to a co-chair of the Republican National Committee, has held talks in recent months about acquiring and investing in Newsmax.”

They have had a very consolidated 24/7 message machine in fux snooz. Now with competing rivals for a dwindling number of viewers, squabbles are going to erupt. 2-3 alternate reality news stations, conflicting story lines...let the games begin

A Trump Network will be devastating to the Republican brand. They will end up going to war with the Trump Propaganda Network. On second thought....please proceed.

With OAN and other outlets trying to pull audience in there is likely a situation in which they will have to out outrage each other. Fox will become more of a safe standard for the everyday viewer. The other sources will do everything possible to attract attention. It very possible that they slide into a world that their viewers take out into the public and makes them look like oddballs - o one will understand what they are talking about.

Here is sort of a parallel here with how NASCAR has taken itself out of the mainstream sports programming world.
