Mary Trump doesn't think Donald will run again. Ego is too fragile to lose again LOL

3. While I think this is true
I think he will campaign for 3 years before he finds an excuse to stop running.
Too much attention and money to be had. It also gives him an umbrella to yell about being persecuted as a political figure when the legal problems come calling. |

16. I think so too. I don't think he expected to win in 2016.
He might have bailed out then if he knew he’d win. He certainly has never shown any interest in doing the duties of the president.

21. My sincere hope is that a combination of Law Enforcement actions and
civil lawsuits tie him up so that his plans to campaign become unfeasible or just so patently ridiculous that he can't really go through with his plans.

I think it's all bullshit, simply another grift to keep his cult followers sending him cash.

He's really all about being a Grifter...he's sucked out plenty from the Whitehouse tour. .Moving on ...

7. He doesn't have to BE on the ballot. He just needs to fundraise AS IF.
How can he resist all that nice, juicy MAGATmoney just waiting to be scooped up and thrown at him?

14. Exactly. Three years of fundraising and doing rallies for the grift.
Then make up some "deep state" excuse on why he is being excluded because he would win.
Trump may not be on the ballot come Nov 2024 but I would be utterly shocked if he doesn't announce his candidacy for the 2024 race and announce it relatively soon. |

9. What I'm hoping for:
Donald Trump has damaged his brand so completely, so irrevocably that NONE of his treasonous offspring (and that includes Jared, Kimberly, and Lara) will even entertain going into politics to keep "Trumpism" alive.

The screaming weirdo gal
Reince Preibus had a sweet gig, right? Free money and stuff. So, perfect. Speaking of, we really haven’t heard from old Reince. Wonder what he’s been up to. Ah, right he’s getting ready to try to stay out of jail. |

10. I think that Mary Trump may be wrong, here.
At least, her reasoning seems off to me. A lot can happen in four years. Conditions may or may not be ripe for Trump to take another shot at the White House, but if she thinks this “wound” is so severe that Trump won’t risk this wound again, she may be wrong about that. Cluster B-disordered people are known for having poor emotional memory. They suffer emotional impacts, but they can be quite resilient. They display very little fear.
I don’t know. He enjoys the spotlight so much that he might give it a shot if the conditions were right and enough of his rabid supporters were cheering him on. Napoleon returned from Elba, after all. ![]() -Laelth |

11. Oh, I agree
I figured that was all just a ruse, mostly to keep republicans in congress on edge. He could never recreate the bizarre "magic" a second time and meanwhile, he needs to get busy finding ways to make money. His current gig hasn't been as profitable as he'd hoped.

12. I agree!
It's all about more scams to separate money from people for him to pocket for himself. In time his people will realize they're being conned. He'll claim he's the victim, and then say his followers are being victimized also, using that to raise money.

13. I like justice so I would like to see him in prison
but that is not going to happen (still I support the Biden administration and other entities fully investigating any illegal activities and prosecuting them if they exist).
What would be ideal is if he bleeds what would have been productive campaign money from the rest of the GOP. Even if he doesn't run he still might be able to get a portion of his cult to the poll to vote R. The GOP candidates just have to figure out a way to not bring along his negatives as well. I wonder if the Justice Department would be up to deal for him to bring down other powerful Republican politicians. If we could collect Johnson, Graham and McConnell's scalps, I don't mind him floating away into the sunset enjoying is Big Macs and exotic dancers. |

17. I think Trump is entirely capable, however, of pretending like he'll run again
As a cover for his bruised ego, for the attention, for the grifting opportunities... and also to screw over Republicans who'd love to announce their 2024 intentions, but who will be cowed if they think Trump will run. (Or even if they know themselves Trump won't run, but are afraid of alienating Trump's supporters, and dare not offend them.)
