3. Right wing authoritarians
Seems to be exclusively male, so I guess you're right, although Thatcher and the Marcos woman deserve a mention.

6. Yeah, maybe that's it with Mexico..
although I'm thinking I recall that that Obrador is a trump guy.
Mexico's president says he won't congratulate Biden until Trump's election lawsuits are resolved Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador on Saturday said that would refrain from declaring either of the US presidential candidates as the winner until any legal issues are resolved, according to the Guardian.
On November 8, Joe Biden was declared president-elect by most major news outlets after the state of Pennsylvania was called for the former vice president, leaping him across 270 Electoral College votes, which is the threshold for victory. Mexico is the top trading partner with the US, with roughly $600 billion in annual cross-border trade. "With regard to the US election, we are going to wait until all the legal matters have been resolved," López Obrador said. "I can't congratulate one candidate or the other. I want to wait until the electoral process is over." https://www.businessinsider.com/mexico-president-manuel-lopez-obrador-biden-trump-election-trade-2020-11 uh huh.. Why did Canada, England, & Germany Congratulate Joe Biden.. and all the other counties(there must be some!)? |

10. Found this.. looks like Obrador is backing a Loser..
By not congratulating Biden, Mexico’s president reveals he sees a lot of himself in Trump
There were also some glaring absences, such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin, who refrained from formally commenting on a contest he has long been suspected of trying to sway. But no silence was more deafening than Mexico’s. In a curt statement, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador explained his intention to “wait until all legal issues” are settled. “President Trump has been very respectful with us,” he said. “We don’t want to be imprudent.”

21. I can't believe Obrador said "trump has been very respectful with us"
and says he sees a lot of himself in trump. Does he see his citizens as murderers and rapists. That is what trump called them. Anyone who compares themselves with trump has a serious problem and perhaps Mexico should also vote him out.

7. I doubt the accuracy of this list
I think Iran would be happy to have Trump out although they have kept quiet.
And it is not unusual for North Korea's Kim to stay quiet. |

9. I have no reason to doubt it. At the time of the tweet, those were the leaders who had not offered a
...a remark to the next US President.
Whether its customary or not, isn't the point I think. It is Who is on the list & their affiliation with the likes of Trump. |

20. Even if Obrador is a jerk, I can understand the stance from a Mexican view
I'm sure Trump, or whoever is whispering in his ear this hour, is still capable of issuing some destructive spiteful executive orders that could affect trade or border issues with Mexico. Mexico has nothing to lose by staying officially silent until they think they will suffer no further damage from making an official statement of congratulation. I'm confident that they have already quietly reached out to Biden through back channels.

22. Mexico and Iran have no reason to want Trump.
Particularly Iran. Do they ever congratulate our presidents?
Mexico will have more to say when the Kraken is removed from their border. |
