Both would have Joe's blessing to prosecute Trump and his minions, as well as those in Congress, who benefitted financially during the term.

49. I want Glenn Kirschner to be

in charge of whatever they call their "Truth and Reconciliation" investigation.

Preet Bhahara and Sally Yates would be great at this as well, but they have the danger of being pegged by Republicans, who would try to discount their findings.

Many qualified attorneys here to choose from. But i would say Andrew Weissman, Sally Yates or Preet Bharara would be qualified. Adam Schiff would also be a great selection too but we need him in Congress.

Also Stacey Abrams beating that ratfucker white power berk Kemp in the 2022 GA gubernatorial race.

That way their refusing to run for the Senate (if we lose the run-offs) in 2020 will have not been in vain.

51. I have been in a funk, tbh, ever since the Senate results in ME, NC, IA, and MT came in.

Also the overall House results (we could end up with a ultra slim 221-214 or so advantage if the closest undeclared races all go against us). The best we can do is probably 223-212. There are two ULTRA close races left, IA-2 where Mariannette Miller-Meeks, the Rethug, leads Rita Hart by 48 (yes 48) votes, and then CA-25 (the Katie Hill ex-seat) where Rethug Mike Garcia leads Christy Smith by 159 votes. IF we lose both those (and thus end up at 221 more than likely) 4 defections (provided all the Rethugs hold tight) and we will be defeated on a full vote for legislation.

Senate-wise, I knew KY, TX, and AK (SC was always a pure fantasy) were not going to happen, as well as KS (due to Sibelius refusing to run) and TN (Tim McGraw has now twice in two years refused to run for open seats, the worst turn-down being in 2018, when he had a weak opponent (RWNJ noob Marsha Blackburn) and the Blue Wave to back him. He has now set himself up to not run and win for years and years, although maybe he gives it a shot in 2024, which is probably his last really good shot until the 2030's).

I am so so so hoping we can beat the historical odds and flip both the GA Senate seats.

Or, Doug Jones would be my second choice.

Somebody in this thread mentioned Merrick Garland. Isn't he still on that federal court Obama nominated him from? If so, I'd rather he would stay there because it's so hard to get Democratic nominees' judges confirmed.
