Bishop Harry Jackson Jr., an evangelical advisor to President Donald Trump and senior pastor at Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Maryland, died Monday at 66.

While introducing him at a White House gathering in April, Trump referred to Jackson as “a highly respected gentleman who is a member of our faith and a person that we have tremendous respect for.”

Jackson attended Trump’s speech at this year’s Republican National Convention. He was also present at the White House garden party in which Amy Coney Barrett’s appointment to the Supreme Court was announced. The event was deemed a coronavirus superspreader event by infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Jackson’s cause of death is currently unknown, but he was not among the many who tested positive for coronavirus after the announcement event, according to his church.

Besides his age as a risk factor for Covid-19 complications, Jackson had battled esophageal cancer in 2005.

I sincerely don't wish harm on anyone. I've learned better.

If there were say 200 people at the event. From what I've heard the COVID virus would claim about two of them eventually. (All relative to the demographics of the group, level of exposure, etc.)

Of course, he presumably didn't receive the level of care that the Hate Pumpkin and Chris "Bridgegate" Christie did.

That would not be the case depending on how many people arrived infected. It is more likely that only some fraction of the attendees actually came down with it. From that number, ~1% were in some danger of dying.

It has always been a numbers game with this thing so there was a fairly high possibility that someone there would succumb. But I doubt it was as high as what you considering. Nevertheless, the possibility was way too high to actually have the event.

However, the larger question is how many of those infected people spread it to others. If a few dozen people came away from that thing infected, it could have spread to thousands within the community and around the Country. Who knows how many of them have died.
