Trump killed Limbaugh (he's not dead yet)

Recently Limbaugh told his audience that his lung cancer, a disease which he regularly told millions is not caused by smoking, is terminal.

According to one of Limbaugh’s regular replacements Limbaugh has been delaying scheduled treatments to help Trump at critical times and to get through the election.

Trump owes Limbaugh big time for helping Putin get him elected in 2016 and Limbaugh should have spent the last ten months getting the best treatment money can buy and resting by the ocean in Palm Beach. Instead, Trump has been using Limbaugh to call COVID a hoax, make excuses for his crimes and incompetence, attack Democrats, and most recently call the election stolen.

Limbaugh took one for the Jipper, and they both lost.

And so did the GOP, because Limbaugh won’t be there to excuse them for supporting Trump.

This book below is over 20 years old he has been on the air over 30 years
Over the years I have voiced my opinions about the local broadcast of his show but ratings do not lie even in the Chicago market he is popular . So now I am more focused on supporting our progressive radio here.

his 'ratings' are very much tied to the fact it's a monopoly and his stations are usually the loudest in every state and also do weather, traffic, sports, etc

At this time of the year it will be football on Saturday now (if they are playing?covid )because last year in 2019 they left a regular sports channel to come over to the Limbaugh talk station
That station is all RW daytime weekday

I hope more places start having progressive radio stations like we do . Maybe with Biden and his policies progressive stations will become more popular so people have an alternative
They need support and advertisers etc of course but the local issue shows with some syndication shows like Miller and Hartmann here are a good mix that could work elsewhere imo

Maybe some people started listening to Limbaugh because there was nothing else on and could have used alternative air waves .
