I've been happy to support her efforts since the primaries two years ago.

Hurts my shoulder to pat myself on the back so much, but it's worth it.

and I was in shock mode Tuesday evening when she was running behind. Even though this has been traditionally a red district it has been trending purple and no one thought it would be close as she had a stellar organization and had won by a comfortable margin in 2018. Oberweis was a huge Trump supporter and a jerk. He prematurely declared victory Tuesday night. I am thrilled for her come from behind win.

New: #IL14 Rep. Lauren Underwood (D) lead rises to 4,288 votes vs. Jim Oberweis (R), 200,037 to 195,749. I'd already seen enough, but it's well out of recount territory now
