It's time for John Kasich to reach out to Rs and tell them to start listening to *this*

Now is the time for John Kasich to reach out to Republicans and tell them to start listening to what *this* half of the country has to say.

We've suffered through 7 million "white working class voters" think pieces for the last 4 years.

I'll be listening to black women. Thanks.

John should take the lead on his own idea and begin compromising as a first gesture. Don't you think?

You guys aren't the other half of the country, you're the *less than* half of the country.

We literally just counted.

I was fine with Kasich showing up and giving a speech at our convention, because why the hell not. But now the election is done, he should feel free to STFU.

Have you noticed that moderate Democrats are always forced onto the back foot by being asked if they agree with the most extreme elements of our half of the political spectrum? Yet moderate Republicans like Kasich are always given a free pass and kowtowed to like sort of sensible centrist idols.

Just for once, I would love to see Kasich show up on CNN and be asked a bunch of questions about whether he agrees with the rest of the Republican Party on the issue of Jews drinking the blood of children in the basement of pizza parlors. I mean the Republicans literally just got people elected to Congress who believe in that stuff.

They did nothing. More Republicans voted for Trump that the last election. They keep talking about these moderate Republicans and how we need to go to the center. Bullcrap. Just ask Democrats in Ohio what they think of Kasich. A majority of the country is for government healthcare, increased minimum wage, free state college and a higher tax rate on the wealthy. These are just facts, every exit poll shows this, they are popular even with republicans. They are not left wing radical ideas, so apparently the center endorses these ideas. If that is what they mean by going to the center I'm all for it.

Republicans have demonstrated that their ultimate goal is to destroy democracy and replace it with an oligarchy with a golden ass to worship.

he did not revive manufacturing jobs, he did not bring back the coal industry and his tariffs hurt farmers.

These people are petrified of people of color, they are enraged by kneeling football players, interracial couples in TV commercials and marriage equality. Trump has offered them nothing but reinforcement of their bigotry and fear - but that's all they want. All culture wars all of the time.
