David Gregory is so far up his own ass he can't smell Scott Brown's bullshit

Wow.

I just finished watching that "debate" and I can't stop my hands from reflexively grasping and crushing, because I'd like to choke David Gregory the fuck out.

That is if he doesn't asphyxiate on his own ego first.

He has no idea what a terrible job he did.

He is so chuffed with himself, has obviously spent far too many years in front of the mirror in the front and having his ass kissed from behind.

He wasn't tough - he was arbitrary. He wasn't in control - he was overbearing. He's not nearly as interesting as he thinks he is and none of us are nearly as interested in David Gregory as David Gregory thinks we are.

Scott Brown continues to lie about two fundamental features of this campaign, and thanks to David Gregory, Brown got away with it again tonight.

He isn't bipartisan. At least Warren was able to call him on that during her closing, the one time asshat Gregory couldn't interrupt, but I fear it might have been too late, as all the people bored to death by listening to the David Gregory Show ("DGS&quot may have tuned out by then. But the list of votes that actually took courage to break with his party on that Brown again and again and again did not show the "bipartisan courage" he likes to bloviate on and on about - that list is way long, and is filled with votes that I suspect are important to Massachusetts voters.

His constant reference to the NFIB isn't a reference to "the leading independent" blah blah blah - it's a reference to business trade group that is as in the tank for business as Brown is. The NFIB opposed health care reform and opposes increases to the minimum wage. His reference to their ridiculous study claiming Warren's plans would raise the deficit by $3 trillion plus is also complete bullshit.

This link shows how ridiculous his citation of that number is: http://www.masslive.com/politics/index.ssf/2012/09/fact_check_scott_browns_calim.html (no idea why masslive misspells their own link)

This link shows what a piece of shit the NFIB is: http://www.bradblog.com/?p=9577 (showing that the NFIB has received almost four million dollars from Karl Rove, is a member of ALEC, and a craven opponent of tax rate increases for the mega-rich)

This link shows the NFIB for what it is, too: http://www.npr.org/blogs/ombudsman/2012/07/13/156752087/when-a-small-business-owner-is-more-than-the-title-suggests

This link shows the NFIB was founded by "Wilson Harder (who) left his job at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to found NFIB": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Federation_of_Independent_Business

The US Chamber of Commerce is as right wing as they come.

Elizabeth Warren should have had the chance to fully complete her answer that this "figure" that Brown has made the centerpiece of two debates has been rejected by a nonpartisan group commissioned by the Boston Globe to review the two candidates' proposals:

In response to a request from the Globe, the two competitors in the nation’s most high-profile Senate battle provided five ideas for bridging the nation’s $1.2 trillion deficit, with the results highlighting why the problem has deadlocked Washington. The candidates were also asked to explain what cuts they would make to entitlement programs, and to describe how they would raise more revenue.

Though Brown has made the deficit a larger issue in his campaign, an analysis prepared for the Globe by a nonpartisan group showed that responses offered by Warren, and positions taken on her website, would trim 67 percent more from the debt over 10 years than those offered by Brown.

She did not get the chance to answer one of the most important factual questions of the two debates because David Gregory likes to hear himself talk.

And he has an anus mouth.

I'm still beyond ticked off at Gregory.

Also had no idea he was 6'5". My dreams of punching him in the face are kind of out. I can rip someone pretty good in the face who's 6'3", but 6'5", I'd have to go for a liver shot of death.

Damn that man, though. One of the most irresponsible, buying into his own bullshit performances I've seen by a moderator in a long time. Don't get me wrong, there have been other bad ones, but this was appalling.

That Chamber of Commerce dude at the Powell-Cantor debate? Gregory should be forced to take 12 one hour lessons from that guy on how to properly moderate a debate. What a schmuck David Gregory is.
