Do you think a deal should be done with Trump - he encourages a peaceful transition in exchange
for going easy on his crimes?
EDIT I see a lot of "no" replies. Specifically, I'm think of the damage Trump can do before he leaves, in particular inciting civil unrest. Okay, how about if he was told something along the lines of: "These are all the charges you will face. However, if you want us to play nice, you need to do the same." Then, when Trump leaves office, he is still arrested.

he's not going to keep any trumpsters in the Admin, he doesn't need introduction to administrative responsibilities, darn sure don't need introduction to trump's CV19 efforts, etc.
Seriously, trump and his cronies can just leave and Biden will step right in and not skip a beat. |

On the other hand. I believe there is a "Law & Order" for every occassion. I seem to recall an episode where McCoy cut a sweet deal with a criminal but the twist was it didn't apply to federal charges. As the crook left the courtroom, the Feds moved in.
With Trump, it could be done in reverse. He cuts a deal with the Feds and as he thinks he's walking away free, New York State troopers move in and drag him off. |

him ratting out his criminal associates AND admitting, on camera, his lies and attempts to subvert democracy and agree - along with his family - to scuttle away and live away from the public eye. IF does that, I have little problem with him avoiding prison.
