One piece of news. The DOJ has selected Minnesota to be one of the states they will monitor for illegal, fraudulent or problematic election or voting procedures. They had planned to send armed federal officers. Our governor said, no way. Then they switched to unarmed federal officers or US attorney staff people stationed inside our polling places. Again, our governors response: no way. So now they are sending lowly legal assistants to stand outside and field complaints or questions. I love our governor, Tim Walz. I think Barr is doing more to undercut trust in our government than even Trump at times.

(26,727 posts)The polls appear to show Biden up by 4-5 points in MN... and there have been far more polls run (which helps)... but Clinton only won the state by ~1.5%, and the two polls that were run in the week or so prior to the election showed her up by 10.
