How the actual fuck can ANYONE vote for Trump at this point?
I am watching the 3rd in a series of documentaries about Trump on the BBC, this one covering impeachment until today. Because he does so much shit all of the time you forget 90% of what he has done, you would go insane otherwise. So tonight let us remember, that in one year:
Ukraine quid pro quo Impeachment Mass graves cause Covid The demonization of Fauci cause science Encouraging violence and divisiveness China Virus Tells his cult to ignore the advice of his own fucking government Ultra violet and disinfectant George Floyd Lynching Black Lives matter - Trump in a bunker Trump low buzzing and gassing peaceful protestors 'Law and order' for racist fuckers, sending heavily armed brown shirts into crowds of peaceful protestors Reporters violently attacked by state and federal 'law and order' Beating up the first amendment for a photo op in front of a church (upside down state bible?!?!) Christian nationalism writ large, that worships power, not God. (The religious right are evil fuckers - my observation from the documentary) BLM is marxist Tried to demolish all of the institutions of America Trump thinks he will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents America has ever had. COVID Super Spreader. Ignoring all the rules while infected. Thinks he is a covid immune super man as hundreds of thousands die. This is how we see America. Some dick just said he is a rock star. Heh. It was a devastating portrayal of who and what he and the people surrounding him are, and yet still there are fucking idiots who think he is a good plan. AND EDIT TO INCULDE SOMETHING ON EPISODE TWO: Babies in concentration camps.

2. Simple
They see your list as
Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News Fake News The damage that Fox News, facebook, and right wing radio has done can't be underestimated. If nothing you claimed is true then there is no reason to not vote for Trump. |

5. Some people think the Earth is flat.
Remember that 50% of American's have below average I.Q.s and the now-obsolete diagnostic classifications included "idiot" (IQ of 0–25), "imbecile" (IQ of 26 to 50), and "moron" (IQ of 51–70). That means we have, and will always have, 10 to 20% of people who we would have, in less politically correct times, called idiots, imbeciles and morons.

And some 40-ish(?)% of voters favor him?
Lack of discernment in a big way. International disgrace. |

20. Gawd
I had a young male (caucasian) at a drivers license facility trying to tell me how lucky russians are because they don't have to pay taxes. (Months ago. Pre-covid.)
So I told him I'm not sure if they do or don't, but it is a communist country that perpetually spews propaganda to look good. But I'm pretty sure they do not have access to food the way we do. Then I asked him if he would like to live there. I told him I would buy him a 1-way ticket so he can go stand in line for hours to buy a loaf of bread. He got squirmy. (Inconvenient question to a repuke.) He said 'I don't think so." Of course I was only calling his bluff to make him think. ![]() |

9. Greed.
There are plenty of people who look at their portfolio and their only question is “what’s in it for me?” And if they think Trump benefits them more, they vote for him. Selfish and narcissistic, but there are all too many people in this country who think those are virtues.

13. Because decades of hate radio and FAUX
Millions have been carefully targeted and brainwashed for decades. They've been told during that time that they and what they hold dear are scheduled for elimination at the hands of Democrats. They've been educated for half a decade now that Trump's law-breaking and fascist rhetoric are actually signs of how capable and powerful he is. He is their savior, their golden calf, their god.

15. Because he enables and reinforces their own dark side...?
In that scenario, facts simply don't matter, feelings do (which makes it so ironic that "Fuck Your Feelings" is one of their favorite slogans). 45 gives them permission to be assholes, and they love him for it.

16. It doesn't matter what he does. They don't support him because of what he does, they just support
him because he's "on their team," and attacks people that aren't themselves. He was 100% right when he said he could shoot someone and he wouldn't lose a vote--he murdered 100's of thousands and it didn't cost him a vote from his base. They do not care. As long as he's a bully, and he's "on their team," and says the things that hit the rage-anger-fear buttons in their brains, they'll keep supporting him.
People don't stop doing meth when their teeth fall out, and their skin starts to rot. They don't stop supporting trump when he rips kids from their families and then loses them. Trump's their drug. And there's no rehab program. |

22. Greedy shit stains who have coasted through life on Easy Street and have invested heavily in the...
'Screw Over Others to Get Mine' mantra of a cannibalizing country/economy of the Republican Party. They only care about how much they can get over others and how much it helps their offspring clan in their abuse of others.
Yet they do not understand if they just went along with ensuring enough for all, they and their kids would come out better in the long run and have a much stronger country to help them even more. |

24. What will we do with the country we have left after trump..?
His supporters aren't going to melt away into the woodwork. They've been emboldened in their racism, xenophobia, misogyny, cruelty, and pettiness.
Why would they change after trump is gone? Over 90% of Republicans approve of trump. Where the fuck do we go from here? I've said many times that if the two Americas went to a marriage counselor, that counselor would advise divorce. Irreconcilable differences. |
