Today Fortas would not have resigned. Likewise Nixon resigned to avoid impeachment. Today he like Trump would not be convicted by the partisan Senate.

Impeachment takes 67 Senators. This is a fool's errand.

That would be way more money than a SC justice can make. Sign her to a 30 year, $30 million contract. Guaranteed.
