Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett sworn in and greeted with a request to recuse herself in an election case

(CNN)Justice Amy Coney Barrett recited the judicial oath Tuesday morning in a swearing-in ceremony administered by Chief Justice John Roberts, officially beginning her tenure as the 115th justice on the Supreme Court -- and was greeted with a request to recuse herself from a key election-related case.

The ceremony took place in the East Conference Room of the court and Barrett is seen a photo shared by the court with her right hand raised and left hand placed on a family Bible held by her husband, Jesse, as she took the oath.
All Supreme Court justices participated in the ceremony except Justice Stephen Breyer, who listened by phone from his home in Cambridge and felt it was safest to avoid travel and attend virtually, according to the court's public information officer Kathy Arberg.

of Justice Amy Coney Barrett from this matter pursuant to Supreme Court
Rule 21. This recusal is compelled since Justice Barrett’s “impartiality might
reasonably be questioned,” 28 U.S.C. § 455, given the circumstances of her
nomination and confirmation. Likewise, the Due Process Clause of the Fifth
Amendment, U.S. Const. Amend V, requires recusal under these same
circumstances.

because Amy does what the men tell her to do. Independent my ass.

Bought and paid for.

ETA: She won't recuse, election suits are what she was put on the court for. I'm certain her "head" made promises for Handmaid Amy to keep.

a case, like the ACA, immigration, or minimum wage increase, to get to the supreme court. And the attorney prefaces his case by quoting Matthew 25: 31-46. Which will force her to choose between her so called religious beliefs and GOP dogma.

I think I read that the new justice said she will not recuse herself from any cases involving the election, or involving Trump.

It's essential the SCOTUS has at least twelve justices. That should be one of the first orders of business.
