First I would say I love this electproject. Great insights.

If you go here and rank the counties by the ballots requested there are 7 counties with more than 100,000 ballots requested in PA. Of those seven four have over 50% return rates and two others are in the mid 30s. All that is amazing. Way to get out the early vote PA. The exception is Bucks county with a less than 20% return rate.
Anyone know why?

(11,170 posts)Both received their mail in ballots after a 4 week wait. They both mailed them in two weeks ago. On has received a receipt of ballot message his husband has not. The mail has been slowed to a crawl in BC. They have been waiting for five weeks to receive the tags for their new car through the mail. Ratfuckery no doubt.
Our mail in OH is still working fine. I got my ballot in one day and mailed it back, and five days later it was accepted (and it likely arrived back in a couple days at most). Our ballot return rate at this point is much higher than in Bucks county.

(4,552 posts)We just got our ballots last Thursday. Would love to know the reason for the delay.
We have a three member board of county commissioners and the majority is now Democratic. The county was republican run for decades. There are still republicans in the government.

(44,939 posts)There are some printers that accepted way more orders that they could fulfill in a timely manner. Did you mail your ballot back?
At this point people should be taking their ballots to a drop box rather than mailing it.

Long line outside in the rain to early vote.
