Two hundred and twenty-five thousands is not a big number to Donald Trump.

"Covid, Covid, Covid!", he yells at his rallies.

"Supposing" he had ten thousand supporters at every rally? That he has had twenty rallies in the last six months? That would total about 200,000 supporters, approximately.

Almost the same number of people that have died from the deadly virus, that has been verified.

Also, consider that fifty million people have already voted? Two hundred and twenty-five thousands is not a big number when compared to fifty million.

The point being that the huge, enthusiastic crowds at the "rallies" may not be as big as they seem? It could be argued that the fifty million people, that have already voted, is a powerful force, also.

He's not entertaining or interesting. I think it is more of a social thing, getting together with like-minded people, sort of a cultish event. Perhaps this is their idea of being with the in crowd.

8. Kind of reminds me of the Tea Party events

where people showed up with their lawn chairs and picnic coolers. It really was more social than political. A lot of bored people with nothing better to do. Maybe it is like the Dead Concerts where many people went for the camaraderie as much, if not more than for the music. (I'm not equating Deadheads with Trumpers, just the attraction of the events.)

A large segment of our population has no interests or hobbies. For decades their free time has been watching dumbed down television and more recently surfing the Internet. They are bored and restless because they don't actually do anything. That boredom translates into dissatisfaction with their life and they have to blame someone(s). Being they never take responsibility for anything, they blame Democrats and liberals.

There are so many interesting things that a person can do with their spare time, so it is mind-boggling to me that so many people choose to don red hats and attend really stupid rallies.

Are they part of the large mass of people that tend to not go to the polls? Do they have other interests?

13. You know, I've often wondered that

A lot of opinionated people don't actually go to the polls. My sister watches Fox News every day. That is where she gets her political views, but she doesn't vote. Because she lives in California, she says her vote doesn't count. Of course, that is a pretty lame excuse, as there are a lot of down ballot races, plus a bunch of ballot initiatives. So she is basically an opinion without a meaningful voice, just a purveyor of misleading Facebook memes.
