It’s bizarre.

As a young girl, I saw a guy do this in a park where I was playing with my friends. Later, as an adult and a runner, I saw it more times than I can count out in a park and on other trails.

Actually I read that two sources said he "seemed to be on a second call " at the same time. (not sure if that was just a way of explaining it that the people watching him came up with by the people watching him). So maybe he was doing phone sex or Zoom sex on the other call, thinking he had the camera off on the business call (or maybe both were "business calls" ...). That he left the first call then came back, seemingly not knowing that he was visible to the others.

That's why it's important to cover the camera with tape or a Post-it or something except when you want to be seen!
Now when he gets spam emails that say "I've been video recording you having fun, send Bitcoin" he'd better send that Bitcoin!
