THOUSANDS Gather In D.C Today For Women's March (Watch)

____The march focused on supporting voting rights, with an emphasis on women. It also protested Donald Trump's nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court during an election year. https://bit.ly/2FId9gc

My "sister march" had about 200. All wore masks and it was hot out so not many pink hats.

I have posted it here for a few weeks on various forums (activists headquarters , womens issues, gen. discussion).

Even when thousands are expected it barely gets a blip on the local news, let alone the national news. I usually hear Rachel Maddow announce them but she was silent this time. Women still don't matter, even when the SCOTUS and our rights is on the chopping block. One step forward.......

It was about 35 miles away but we were having a heavy snowfall and I thought the drive would have been dangerous with lots of people during the first snow. We got 8-10 inches.

I'm glad to see this, gives me hope.

But the tourists are still around and it's best to stay out of their way when they are trying to figure out snowy roads.

The ground is in the process of freezing now so a couple inches melted earlier. There's more snow to come in the next couple days so I am enjoying the fact that I have shelter with heat this year. And lots of stuff left from the garden!
