Pete Souza, unprecedented commercial-free time,

to show us what we've been missing, to express his anger at mf45, and to strive for better. Man, memories.

I want to sign up to wherever he posts images. I had no idea.

And bonus: iq45 is most likely livid.

Souza's mom died recently, so this is bittersweet for him.

having the fucking moron on yesterday and being boycotted. Of course this was already on the line up in programming so that can't be the case.

that Comcast, hardly known as a bastion of liberal thinking, was clearly on board. That, in itself, is a powerful message.

But I never had any doubt, ever, that he was doing his best and always had the best interests of the regular American people at heart.

And he was and is a *good person.*

16. Pete Souza has been quietly tweeting several of his photos

... for the last 4 years.

I don't know when he got the idea to do the documentary, but he published a book of Obama photos about 2 years ago. Lately he's been tweeting photos and commentary to contrast the hateful sniping of the Chumps with the loving camaraderie of the Obamas.

It's very effective, and he sure gets his point across.

19. That was the most emotional hour and forty minutes I've seen since Obama's first inauguration....

It was great that MSNBC showed that without interruption. So many moments, happy and sad, that left our memory.

BTW, Souza is on Twitter, you can follow him at @petesouza but he hasn't been very active lately. And he has a website petesouza.com

(this isn't a promotion of Souza!)

23. So excellent

Weren't we lucky to have such a good man leading this country. He had "it" and he used it well.
Pete's Souza sounds like a good man too - an honest evolution into caring because he sees just what can be lost.
Kleenex throughout.

Especially the segment on Sandy Hook.

Brings back many memories. I worked on Obama's presidential campaign and remember the energy and hope. I feel the same sense of purpose now. People are really engaged and excited about the election.

35. It was a wonderful, emotional hour and forty-five minutes.

I cried through most of it. Pete Souza’s Instagram account is stellar. He was one of the first people I followed when I opened my account. He threw shade quite often at MF45 on IG after the 2016 election but he quickly morphed that into action and most recently into “Throw Shade Then Vote” over the last year or so. His mother Lillian just passed away this past week.

41. Great film and a wonderful photographic history

Really well done and moving. Makes us remember what a presidency is suppose to look like, the dignity, the grace, the tough, soul-searching decisions matched by the human moments, both joyous and heartbreaking. Glad I took the time to watch. Well worth it.

Biden should hire Souza (or beg him to come back) as soon as the election is over.

Excellent!
