Oh lord, I hope this is Franklin Graham
Prescription sleep aids can have some wicked side effects, including somnambulism, the medical term for sleepwalking. That's the explanation given for why a man identified only as a "well-known pastor from North Carolina" urinated on Alicia Beverly on a Detroit-bound flight from Las Vegas Monday night.

1. That would be funny, but if it was I think we'd know by now.
It would have been leaked, so to speak.

2. I am a lifelong North Carolinian
Trying to think of another "well known pastor" outside this state.
If it was him--- and this story is new--- I DON'T think we would know yet- |

Not much on “Pastors” so never heard of him.

6. If he's the same Pastor Barber who is a frequent guest on MSNBC
I will be deeply disappointed.

11. He has health problems. Ankylosing Spondylitis which is a very painful
disease of the spine. It's possible he was on pain medication.

21. Sorry to hear that, but his gig as guest commentator
are likely at end.
He will probably continue to be a messenger on important issues near and dear to our side, but sadly, his platform will be greatly reduced. |

22. No proof it was him. NC has more than one prominent pastor and Barber's been in
Raleigh working on #WeWillWinNC . Most of his events have been online only. Seriously, the guy can barely walk.

24. I seriously would hate for it to be him. Since the article seems
to intentionally raise doubts about about the identity, I'll hold on to hopes.

26. Me too. It's possible it's some pastor that's prominent and well known in the church world
but not to anybody else. It's weird that they printed the name of the victim but not the pastor. What's up with that?!

If it's him, that's pretty fucking embarassing for our side.

8. Here's the thing- I hate to say this
But, there is a reason the press hasn't jumped on this- a reason the "pastor" has not been named. People in the state love love love Billy Graham. Not so much Franklin, but I could see people not wanting to sully the name of Billy-

Only thing he can do is lean in. Express his dismay and talk to the woman if he can. I feel bad for both of them.

16. I really hope it's not him.
Franklin? It would make my day if it were him, and he had been drinking. I have expected to see something come out in the news about that hypocrite for a long time. He's too holier-than-thou, and I always think those super pious types are hiding something.
