Wells Fargo sends election material to mortgage holders.

Wells Fargo, who owns my mortgage, just sent me an election guide comparing the effect of Trump v Biden on the economy. Is that normal?

If you open the thread, you can see the actual letter.

Here it is on Wells Fargo's webpage. https://www.wellsfargoadvisors.com/research-analysis/reports/election-preview.htm

They attribute the Green New Deal to Biden.

You may recall that this was one of the more disreputable banks during the crisis of 2008. They also opened up fake credit card accounts for customers.

1. Is Wells Fargo worried that Elizabeth Warren might be holding a gavel next year?

Because they should be.

3. I say call and complain.

I donít have a Wells Fargo account. They are the bank who stole from their customers by opening accounts they had not requested.

No doubt they want the party of crooks, thieves and zero oversight. But the fact they are using money that you, their customer, ultimately pays for to push repugs is sickening.

I've never worked for a company that pushes a candidate. My current company has been sending emails encouraging us to vote, links to register, information about absentee ballots etc but they've never mentioned a candidate and request that we not talk politics at work.

8. If my investment company sent me that, I'd pull all my money out NOW

They should stay the fuck out of any kind of politics.

9. Agreed

But they also sent it to mortgage holders, who typically don't have the option to pull out. They are taking advantage of a captive audience.

11. How about complaining to the Better Business Bureau. Something's wrong. They're campaigning

For Trump? What are the FEC rules?

12. I don't think it's a BBB thing

But the FEC or State Attorney General, depending on the state, could help.
