Williamson County surpasses first day of early voting in 2016

More people have voted on the first day of early voting in Williamson County than voted during the first day in the 2016 presidential election.

By 5 p.m. Tuesday, 18,817 voters had cast ballots, according to the county’s website. On the first day of early voting in the 2016 presidential election, 18,066 people voted.

Williamson County had 375,346 registered voters as of Monday

when they talk about specific counties. There are many states with duplicate county names....
