Here's how disinformation spreads. Someone is shot at a rally in Denver, various right-wing personalities instantly claim antifa did it and rack up thousands of RTs. The police say the suspect wasn't connected to antifa, but that gets a fraction of the attention.

(51,055 posts)We're not immune to jumping to conclusions sometimes. However, the difference is we ask questions and accept it when facts show we were in error. For these assholes, nothing shakes their mistaken beliefs.

(36,722 posts)The only organized 'Antifa' seems to be Trump supporters showing up with their spray paint, Molotov cocktails, or guns, pretending to be protesters.
And now Trumpsters pretending to be part of BLM protests.
