But oh boy, she would be merciless.

(3,943 posts)Insofar as AG, Katie would be awesome. I want someone absolutely ruthless in going after this maladmistration and its enablers. I like Pete Buttegeig for Secretary of State.

(29,671 posts)Porter will eventually go for it-or Swalwell. I think at this time Schiff has it if he wants it.

(8,019 posts)We need her in the senate during impeachment of some of the judges that need to go down, for lying at their hearings.

(31,106 posts)They will make her and Joe and President Obama look guilty of something, that they are not of course guilty of.
It is all they have left, they cant seem (we hope) to forge the Durham report, so this is the last ditch thing they can do.
Remember who we are dealing with. BAD people, really bad.

(15,377 posts)Not mentally all there? Nepotism? Low energy? Won't be able to handle COVID? The sane, smart people recognize this all as projection from Trump. Biden at this point is essentially Uncle Joe and has a lot of positive energy. Hillary unfortunately had a rep she didn't deserve, but republicans went after her immediately after realizing she had political aspirations and put her through the wringer enough that to a lot the BS Trump threw at her stuck more than it should. Not fair, but it is what it is.
With nothing working on Biden, they're falling back on what they had success - attacking Hillary but this time hoping to tie whatever "issues" she has back to democrats in general and Joe in particular. That would seem to be a much more difficult thing to do, but I guess when it's all you got, you have to try.

(115,613 posts)She hasn't actively practiced law in decades and has no experience at all as a prosecutor; she worked for fifteen years as a corporate litigator at the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock. Granted, the AG is more of a manager than an active trial lawyer, and the DoJ's work is not by any means limited to federal criminal prosecutions. But I would much rather see someone get it who has actually done the job, like Sally Yates, who was acting AG until Trump sacked her, or at least someone who has been recently active in federal trial work, like Preet Bharara, whom Trump also sacked. It would certainly be poetic justice for either of them to prosecute Trump, too.

(3,633 posts)with Hillary as the figurehead. Her main job would be to announce who was being indited, who was going to jail etc. I'm not particularly good at thinking about the particulars, but I think Hillary would really, really enjoy announcing that Barr or any of the Trumps were going to have to actually pay for all the horrible things they have done to our country. And I think Hillary deserves that much. What an awesome warrior she has been.

(6,804 posts)All the decades of Hillary bashing will be revealed for the character assassination they were. Insofar as the bashing was criminal it will be exposed and prosecuted. Hillary Clinton will be exonerated of crimes and lauded as the progressive stalwart she is. As the proceedings culminate she'll deserve the opportunity to show the smugness which she's been unfairly accused of since 1993.

(15,026 posts)why give the defendants or their cheering squad a ready target to deflect from their crimes. They're going to attack whoever the AG proves to be. No sense making the AG target so large.

(8,684 posts)The highest law enforcement appointee HAS to be completely pure, honest, transparent, and believe in justice. That is a sacred position and could never be seen as partisan and allow criminals to escape justice. Can never be on video lying under oath, and support white supremacy Vanilla ISIS. We can never let that position be Tarnished. Do I need a sarcasm symbol?
Stack the SC with her and Michelle. All GOP will stroke and die. Then, we can truly be great.
