(9,313 posts)Every second of time one opponent interrupts the other goes to the interrupted's closing (and they get to go longer to make up for the interruption.
And whoever gets the most time from the opponent's refusal to shut up closes last (i.e., gets the last word).
That's what I would do.
There must be consequences.

(32,628 posts)The rules are for everybody else, not HIM. So he needs to be in an isolation booth, with a microphone and video screen. The mic goes off when his 2 minutes are up. If he wants to "talk" out of turn, he can raise his hand.
He can't handle a town hall-style debate anyway, he's just looking for a way out of this.

(9,313 posts). . . to escort him off stage while Biden gets to use every second of DT's "overage" (+ talk over time) for a closing -- which would mean Biden would probably get an additional hour of prime time all to himself.
