(4,845 posts)These state polls are "landslide" territory while the earlier OH, WI, NV are in "not super bad for Trump" territory.
But nonetheless, Trump is losing right now.

(18,975 posts)Yes, now some of the state polls that are coming in are reflecting the Trump collapse of the debates and with getting Covid-19.

(53,342 posts)haven't looked at them compared to the average trendline, though

(8,962 posts)Especially séeing Florida moving away from the "statistical tie" that earlier polls have shown. Iowa until recently "leaning Trump", is also heading in the right direction.

(23,067 posts)All others have drumpf in the lead or tied and I am still seeing asshole trumpers with signs and red gear. Plus FL has a hackable voting system and repugs always steal the election, Russia got in so deep it could have changed votes in 2016 and probably did and will do so again, to an even greater degree. I don't think we should count on either FL or WI that both have the same type of insecure - on purpose - voting software.

(6,851 posts)Social Security and Covid. Seniors are the only people who cought Trump saying he would eliminate payroll taxes. Frightening words.

(14,565 posts)She called me at 11 PM yesterday to let me know. She already voted absentee for Biden. I was semi speechless because I assumed she would go for Trump again. She watches the local Fox affiliate all day long.
But a month ago I told her about Social Security ending in mid 2023 if Trump is re-elected. I don't think she believed it until watching the debate. Trump's behavior during the debate really turned her off. She said that was the clinching factor.
My aunt voted Obama twice, but was so mesmerized by Trump in 2016 she not only voted for him but changed registration to Republican for the first time in her life. Her new friends were widows who brainwashed her into pro-GOP, including sending all the bogus crap about Hillary to her on Facebook.

(23,067 posts)4 repugs I know who voted for drumpf last time will not do so this time. Only 1 f them is voting Biden, the rest are writing in a repug not running, but hey minus 4 drumpf votes is a good start.

(58,606 posts)3rd party votes will likely hurt Trump more than Biden.
They're saying we don't have "enthusiasm." I trust dogged determination a lot more than vapid enthusiasm.

(630 posts)Joe has been building a lead there the past couple weeks. Still suspect Q is a bit optimistic but I think we're leading Fl as of now.

(38,687 posts)'Florida voters have already cast nearly one million ballots in the 2020 general election, according to the United States Elections Project.'
'Wednesdays data shows nearly 5.5 million vote-by-mail ballots were requested in Florida with around 2.5 million were registered democrat and 1.7 million were registered republican. Democrats take the lead as nearly 500,000 ballots have already been returned compared to approximately 270,000 republicans mailing in their vote.'

(1,584 posts)Not likely to be that far ahead for Joe. Its just the way it goes in Florida.
BUT, it does show what I have been hearing, especially from Republicans. About 1 in 4 of the limited but not tiny number I have talked to are saying they will leave the president line blank. So that could account for some of the 9%. But I dont trust they will actually do it.
