Republican "privileged f**ks" with COVID are getting "top-tier" health care while others die

The case for Medicare for All was once again made by the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., tweeted on Sunday, after Republican politicians, including President Trump, were able to check themselves into hospitals shortly after announcing they had tested positive for COVID-19.

Markey noted that throughout the coronavirus pandemic, in which more than 7.4 million cases have been detected and more than 209,000 people in the U.S. have died, people have attempted to get care at hospitals after testing positive and showing worsening symptoms, only to be turned away and "told only to come back when they could not breathe."

"Now politicians are checking into hospitals as a 'precaution.' Healthcare should be a right, not a privilege," Markey wrote. "We need Medicare for All."

The senator's statement came a day after former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a member of the president's debate prep team this past week, announced he was checking himself into Morristown Medical Center after testing positive on Saturday.

and overturn ACA and half of this country who doesnt know, finds out that ACA applies to their employer based health insurance, and when the insurance companies consider COVID a preexisting condition for ANYONE WHO tests positive (when did you get it? how can you prove etc?), at a minimum anyone with COVID will then not have insurance if they get their way.

All they have to do is change the definition of preexisting and anyone who has anything is not covered.

All kinds of money for military might (weapons of all kinds). Military might given to the police in the name of "law and order", among other terms and phrases. Government officials living better than most of the people. Concentrated wealth that flows to government. Revolving door from government to private sector businesses - same businesses that lobby government. Businesses as people, with more protections for their unlawful actions (small fines, lack of regulations or lax regulations) and better tax breaks than most people. A country of 1% - either through money or power, usually both - and the rest of us. A clear pecking order where those in most need are scorned, ridiculed, and held down through * (see below)

People going hungry
Homeless
Jobless
Widespread lack of healthcare
No living wage (15 per hour isn't a living wage. Yes, it's better than less - still not a living wage though)
Lack of affordable housing
Public education deliberately assaulted and assailed for the purpose of dumbing-down the population and ruining public education.

*The deliberate creation and continued creation of an underclass(es) through voter suppression, school to jail pipeline, private prisons/mass incarceration for petty/low level crimes and punitive regulations (debtors prison, prison if can't pay fines), low pay, education as a debt and not a benefit, lack of healthcare, lack of affordable housing, systemic racism and crushing classism with biased and harmful attitudes about the poor, minorities, immigrants, women, the LGBTQ community, the non-religious, single mothers - making it harder to almost impossible to feed, clothe, house yourself or a family. Keeping people in constant survival mode.

Roads broke
Bridges going, going, and gone is some cases
No widespread mass transit
and the list goes on.

But I'm just ranting.

Trump got air lifted to the hospital and treated with an experimental drug. A regular person has to be close to death to be admitted.
So whatever Trump experienced, it's not close to what a regular person experiences.
