I found a good hack for DU when the board is jumping.....

I start reading at the bottom of the page first and move up. I can read and comment on any particular thread, but after I am done, I hit the back button and continue reading /commenting my way upwards.

This usually keeps me current without leaving the front page on LBN. Anyone else use this approach?

3. After 20 or so years on DU, I finally figured it out!

4. I almost always open a new post in a new tab in my browser. When done reading/commenting I close it

and return to the original content.

All browsers allow a "Duplicate Tab" functionality. Right click on the tab and choose "Duplicate" or whatever your browser calls it.

With DU I'll have 2-5 tabs open to various posts and comments.

Mouse gestures can do these "open in new tab" with a single swipe on a link.

I also have "Trump" on my trash by keyword list.

Nothing Trump says has any meaning.

I'll take Trump off my keyword list when he's dead or evicted from the White House.

I wouldn't want to miss the grave dancing or the troubles he has when he is no longer president.
