He's really been innovating in the "Crying Sir Story" space. These used to have some arguable relationship to a point he was making, now it's devoid of content, just totally unmoored from reality, a fantasy about crying tough men thanking him for anything and everything.

"A man came up to me. A tough man. A man who -- a worker, a construction worker. Real worker, and he looked at me -- this is two years ago -- he said, 'Sir, you have given us back our life.' And he was crying." -- Trump

Oh, and for someone to spout off about 'law and order' all the time, why in the Hell is he always aligning himself with unlawful or lawless groups and personifications in the United States and around the world?
Media?... Call him and his supporters out on his 'law and order' lie.

I used to think he was straight up bullshitting but the more I hear his insane rambling I'm guessing they were dreams and he really thinks they happened.

(101,307 posts)and so he thinks he needs to make up stories with some "tough guy" who is so overcome with admiration for Trump.
Of course, the difference is that the actual people who were comforted, encouraged etc. by Biden tell the stories, or it's recorded on video. So we know they're true. While Trump's stories not only have no evidence, they fly in the face of everything we know about him being unable to relate to a human being.

That's the first time a "construction worker" has appeared in these stories, which have also featured a "coal miner," a "steelworker," a "farmer," and a man big as a "football player."

(82,849 posts)Like yesterday when Trump was bragging about all the polls that showed how everyone thought he'd won the debate against Biden (there are no such polls). NOBODY in the gaggle asked, "Which polls, Sir*? Can you name one for us?" They don't have to be aggressive or confrontational at all. Just a conversational Oh-really sort of introduction and the very simple question, easily answered until the person you're talking to is lying his pasty white ass off.
*Trump just loves it when people call him "Sir."
