Recommended Podcast: Covid re-infection and the "Covid Invented in China" claims

https://www.microbe.tv/twiv/

TWIV (This Week in Virology) discusses both topics with a group of virologists.

Summary:

. reported declines in Covid immunity are apparently gauged only by increases in infection (as evidenced by antibody level increases in re-infected patients) but NOT by increases in disease i.e. some may be re-infected but don't get sick.

. the claims from the Rule of Law Foundation that Covid-19 was invented by China are nonsensical pseudo-science.

Highly recommended...

2. You are welcome!

Just out of curiosity though, is it not possible to get an app that will transcribe recorded voice to text rather than the usual text to voice (other than the usual dictation apps)? Never really thought about it till now...

3. I have not heard of such, though maybe they do exist. However, such an app might be

expensive, and many of us are on limited incomes.

4. Did some Googling and it looks like there may be free apps. You could try this:

I've just tried oTranscript - it supposedly transcripts YouTube videos as well as audio files. Trying to get it to work now...
