New GOP Narrative for Sad-Clowns Planning to Stay Home on Election Day: "ALL THE POLLS ARE FAKE!"

"Mitt's really WINNING, but there is a vast, 'Matrix-like' conspiracy to prevent us from seeing it!"

We all know that the GOP has no need to worry about Republican voters getting discouraged, and deciding to save their money rather than donate it to a lost cause. With five plutocrats bankrolling the entire GOP ticket, that's not an issue. Voter suppression efforts aside, they still have to somehow get their own side to actually COME OUT on election day, rather than just throwing themselves into a helpless fetal position on the couch, and watching Shep Smith reading off the bad numbers on Fox.

That's why, from now until election day, it's OUR job to keep highlighting polls that show Obama is going to win.
Meanwhile, the other side knows full well what THEIR job is. To keep telling Republican voters, who are fast slipping into Emmet Kelly 'Sad-Clown' mode, that these polls are FUDGED by the liberal media.

So, I just can't stop laughing over the new, desperate, last-ditch attempt by the right wing noise machine to keep the Republican footsoldiers from getting completely demoralized, and staying home on election day. You may have noticed it. The new narrative is:

"don't believe ANY of these polls that show Obama in the lead!
1. They're 'skewed' to a 2008 turnout model...blah blah blah
2. The Obama Administration used 'Chicago thug tactics,' and sued Gallup Polling in order to intimidate them into giving Obama favorable numbers...blah blah blah
3. -fuck, this is a PANEL show! Why do *I* have to think of everything!?...Rove, what the hell are we paying you for? Get out there and DO something!
4. Rove: "Uh...uh...did you notice that the 'Dimocrats' have now switched their narrative to talking about Obama's landslide victory in the ELECTORAL COLLEGE? I mean, why aren't they talking about the Opinion Polls anymore? They must be SCEERED of them!"*

*Footnote: Rove actually SAID that today. That wasn't satire. He actually said that Democrats talking so much about Obama's overwhelming advantage on Electoral College votes and swing state votes must mean they're nervous about the opinion polls. HAH! The Onion couldn't have done it better.

Here are the latest RCP numbers, with ALL pollsters showing Obama in the lead in opinion, AND in Electoral College Votes.

Percentage that Obama is leading by:

Politico: +3
Rasmussen: +1
Gallup: +2
National Journal: +7
Associated Press: +1
Hartford: +3
Monmouth: +3
NBC/Wall St. J: +5
Pew Research: +8

So, for the last week, Fox News has been spinning the idea that the polls are all wrong, and GOP voters shouldn't get discouraged.

Rove just got finished giving Brett Baier a spin job that reminded me a lot of the virtuoso performance Rove gave JUST BEFORE THE 2006 MID-TERM ELECTIONS when the GOP got hammered into minority status. "You're entitled to YOUR math, but I'm entitled to THE math..." Frankly, I think he just recycled the same pep talk he gave here:

My schedule changed at the beginning of the month so I am only privy to Hannity on tape delay and Rush at 1PM. People may think I am crazy but RW radio sets the agenda with them and Fox News broadcasts it with blondes in heels so I tune in to find out what their newest speel is.

Hannity has a nightly opening of the hour rant about how "IT IS CLOSE!! I SWEAR!!" and of course he gets it from Rush. They get their whole thing from Rush.

They are deranged and are taking their listeners into it with them. They swear that Romney is on the rise!! and they are (more than normal) playing victim to "the media" (Fox is NUMBER 1 - on every single commercial in primetime) is covering for Obama.

It all came together last Thursday when I don't have to be at work until 10 and I caught some Glenn Beck and his non-named cohost. It was like listening into an abusive relationship - "Don't listen to anyone but ME. The neighbors? you don't need to talk to them they are full of LIES!!!" --etc. He actually is encouraging listeners to "turn themselves off" from all outside contacts other than him. Very odd.

after 25 year of Fox News distorting the truth in order to get Republican candidates elected, it may finally become the instrument of their undoing! After four years of living in a bubble/echo chamber of talk about how hated and unpopular the Kenyan userping socialist Chicago thug foreign policy wimp muslim brotherhood liberation theologist is with ABSOLUTELY EVERYBODY, they just can't understand why he's not LOSING! It MUST be because they're not presenting candidates who are presenting the 'conservative message' CLEARLY! ie-Mitt should be PROUD of his comments about screwing the poor... I mean, it's 'common knowledge' that EVERYBODY in America supports these 'conservative' viewpoints.

So, after all these years, the Republican drones that make up the convention/caucus voters are believing their own propaganda, and voting in more and more extremist candidates, and becoming more and more unpopular with mainstream America.

Sun Tzu said "know your enemies and yourself." Well, these guys DON'T. They've been force fed conservative propaganda for so long that they just can't fathom the idea that it's not popular with EVERYBODY.

They are just skewing the numbers.
Romney is winning by a landslide.
His 4.3% chance is just simple number play.
