Today, I'm reminded that I'm glad I didn't opt for mail Rx deliveries.

With my Medicare Advantage plan, there would have been no co-pay for 90 day supplies of my medications if I had opted for mail delivery. Since the copay for all three for 90 days is just $10, I opted to use a local, in-network pharmacy instead. I just got back from picking up my 90-day supply of refills at the pharmacy in the supermarket I use, with 7 pills left of each med still on my shelf.

Since Donald Trump's Postmaster General appointee has opted to slow down the mail to hurt mail voting, everything delivered by the USPS is also delayed.

Thanks, Trump. And, "In your ear!"

1. My medications always arrive promptly.

Some are monthly and still no problem.

2. That's good. Others are reporting delays.

3. I still get mine by mail

and they come on time. Considering all the pharmacies near me burned down, mail is my best option. Mail is a bit slower now, but it still works. (ed. to add: my post office also burned down, and mail has to be rerouted through downtown, so my mail is slower than most).

4. Just got mine-no delay

In fact , ordered another pair of glasses Fri. last, got them yesterday, a week before the 1-2 week expected delivery range expired. Love this service, especially now I want no unnecessary visits anywhere sick folks might be- like pharmacies.

5. I also patronize local pharmacies

The extra $20 per year is my contribution to keeping local pharmacies going. I need them there for my occasional non-maintenance prescription.
