Yesterday I had a nice experience at the gas pump...

I was in scrubs and had just finished gassing up. A lady knocked on my car window, gave me a roll of small trash bags to use for handling gas pumps, and thanked me for being a health care worker. It's nice to be appreciated. The smallest gesture can matter when someone is tired and had a rough week/month/year.

5. Thanks, I assure you it is an honor to be in health care.

Hard times now, but so much joy, too!

7. They still exist in America

Nice people. That should give us all hope for a better future. Take a friend to the polls with you in November .

9. I've actually had people come up to me at loading docks

to thank me and my fellow truckers for keeping the country supplied during this pandemic.

Thank you for all you and your fellow health care workers do to cope with this pandemic.

10. Cold water for the USPS Letter Carrier

Right below the mailbox on my covered front porch, I have a small styrofoam cooler which I load with a couple bottles of water and an ice pack Monday - Saturday. There's a note on the mailbox saying how much I appreciate their work, and to please take a bottle for now, and another one for later. (S/he usually delivers right before noon, as the heat index is approaching 100).

11. I guarantee that's appreciated!

There are so many ways we can show kindness and Lord! People really need some kindness right now. Life is so lonely and desperate feeling!
