The White House Says It's Assembling a "Dossier" on a Washington Post Reporter
https://www.washingtonian.com/2020/08/27/the-white-house-says-its-assembling-a-dossier-on-a-washington-post-reporter/
The White House ordered the Washington Post to stop reporting on President Trump’s business and says it is “building up a very large ‘dossier'” on Post reporter David Fahrenthold. That information was included in a response by White House spokesperson Judd Deere to a request for comment on an article that shows the U.S. Secret Service has spent more than $900,000 at Trump properties during Trump’s presidency. “The Washington Post is blatantly interfering with the business relationships of the Trump Organization, and it must stop,” Deere told the Post in a statement that continued with a sentence likely to make grammar cops’ heads explode. “Please be advised that we are building up a very large ‘dossier’ on the many false David Fahrenthold and others stories as they are a disgrace to journalism and the American people.” The Washington Post tells Washingtonian that it doesn’t have any comment. Fahrenthold has reported on Trump family’s business interests for several years now, but perhaps his best-known article about the President was his 2016 scoop about Access Hollywood tapes, which showed the future President describing how he felt stardom gave him permission to assault women. On Twitter, Fahrenthold said that that if anyone has concerns about his reporting, no dossier is necessary: Link to tweet

1. They really can't tell the difference
between the White House and the Trump Organization! The Orange One has merged the two.
I'm only surprised that it took them so long to admit to having a formal enemies list a la Nixon. |

3. It'll take a while to get it together because his investigators still haven't released their report
on all the shocking things they found out about Obama's citizenship that they "couldn't believe" a dozen years ago.
That report, the new healthcare plan and the tax returns will be released in two weeks. Believe him. They'll be the greatest reports in the history of reports. No one will believe how great they are. |

6. This is Orwellian dystopia double speak and tyranny
Unbelievable to what depths they are sinking to slander lie and charge journalists doing the job of a free press. Farenthold better stay away from high rise buildings or drinking tea.

8. That would be the Pulitzer Prize winning 'disgrace to journalism'....
Given that Mr Fahrenthold gathered the facts that led to the NYAG's suit that shut down the Trumps' self-dealing foundation, they must love seeing his byline.
He seems to be quite unperturbed by it all. Uday or Qusay-one of 'em-had gotten shitty with him on twitter at one point (concerning the foundation), and his response was to enthusiastically suggest that they schedule a phone call to discuss the issue. Crickets. |

And here I thought they were supposed to be separate. Silly me.
