The GOP's no payroll tax dream would end Social Security in 2023, per Lawrence O'donnell.



Tonight on Brian Williams, Lawrence O'donnell mentioned how Junior talked about the payroll tax during his speech.
More proof the GOP and Trump Klan do Not care about Americans.

They might have to be made to go sooner. The damage they are doing is terrifying.

4. Employers pay into the SSI payroll tax

Employers and employees each pay 6.2 percent of wages up to the taxable maximum of $137,700 (in 2020). This is about corporations bowing out of paying their fair share. Corporations are just fine with employees funding their own retirements. Wall St will be happy to sell us some retirement product from which they'll charge a stiff management fee. This is about corporations maximizing profits and socializing costs.
