Lots of other things do't bug me, but those do. Thanks.

39. Yes, that bugs me.

Is it especially tough for you being so close to your name?

One that doesn' bug me is "This needs done." Yes, I was brought up with "This needs doing," but with the other my brain just automatically fills in the "to be" of the ellipsis.

Ours, what the country's forefathers shed blood for, and what our future generations must learn from us. We need to win this one as it will reset the course of this nation.

to Governor Lamont asking about Connecticut joining the 21st century and implementing early voting and/or expanding vote by mail options.

Still NO early voting in Connecticut and you need to certify that you can't vote on election day in order to get an absentee ballot.

If they're sending ballot applications to everyone isn't that overriding the absentee ballot certification?

and the Secretary of State was late in sending them back - we were supposed to received them by July 21st (I think) and I didn't get mine until a few days before the primary.

The Supreme Courtís opinion in Trump v. Vance (July 9 2020) held that neither Article II of the Constitution nor the Supremacy Clause in Article VI immunizes a sitting president from a criminal investigation by a state grand jury. It was a 9-0 unanimous decision.

20. The pushback is gaining momentum

The AG's, the press, our Dem reps, postal workers and union reps and individual Americans getting hurt with the slowdown. Saw a news clip from local TV in Montana where mailboxes were being hijacked. Tester is howling along with other local pols, how this fraud will be disastrous in rural areas, how people rely on the mail for their health, their businesses, etc.

The advantage for these AG's is they have 'intent' coming right from Trump's mouth. He blurted out the whole scheme on national TV. Because, of course, he did.

Hope McConnell is getting an ear full in KY. I've read his constituents are already howling for Covid relief. This is just another nail in the coffin.

31. Good. The 100% vote-by-mail states must sue.

Legal pundits are suggesting that Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Colorado, and Utah, who use 100% vote-by-mail in their elections, should go to the Supreme Court in a lawsuit against Trump and DeJoy under the original jurisdiction rules in the Constitution for a TRO and preliminary injunction. 18 US Code Section 1701 et seq. makes intentional delay or obstruction of the U.S. mail by any person a federal crime.

43. I hope they get on it and have great success. Though, with all the Trump judges, our hopes for the

courts to stop much of the malfeasance is diminishing.

I knew from the start that Trump was going to be far worse than many of my Dem family friends believed. And I figured Rs would let him get a way with a lot as long as they got some of what they wanted.

Nevertheless, I've been shocked by how far it's gone. This blatant maiming of the USPS clearly meant to skew the election in his favor is one of the most glaring examples of the damage he is doing while retaining most of the support he's had all along, even though many of his cult will be hurt by it. I guess they don't mind not getting their medications on time as long as he "owns the libs."
