1. Boy, do I agree with you! I'm really tired of everybody having their own guess but NOBODY
KNOWS. I bet Joe is laughing hos butt off at the damn feeding frenzy.

4. yep. I get it that it helps keep Joe in the news cycle
from a positive standpoint--but it could quickly become more divisive than helpful.

2. And no one is likely to care a whit
five days after it’s announced.

3. It's a "Veepstakes side show" only because the public calls it or makes it so.
Joe knows what he's doing, and he announced it would be announced just before the Convention that starts next Monday. He's merely on schedule as he sees and sets it. If we just let him go about his business, no "side show" develops.
And...he's making a serious and considered decision. Recall those who didn't do so - aka, John McCain? |

6. There's been too much buildup about a POC.
I’m concerned about a negative reaction if he picks a Caucasian.

11. fine. it still won't be a negative once decided
just taking 2 top choices (Whitmer and Harris) both have already received intense media focus and will mot have trouble shifting to Veep level messaging.
I have hopes since she dropped out that it would be Harris, but I would understand Whitmer choice. Most others I wouldn't feel as strongly positive about but also wouldn't feel negative. I think Susan Rice is the riskiest choice. |

13. Ditto.
It’s a fundamentally boring decision that isn’t getting any more interesting for being dragged out for six months. Pick someone, print some signs and lets get on with it.
