The news/talk is gone from Clear Channel’s KRPT, San Antonio and a new rhythmic CHR takes its place branded as “Wild 92.5/105.7.” The station, “San Antonio’s Party Station,” is starting its new life as a music outlet with 10,000 songs in a row.

Right-wing talk radio exists only to inflame and obfuscate. Period. There is NO education factor. This is no information factor. There are only lies and distortion, designed to elicit a reactionary response from low information voters. Right-wing "talk" radio is truly a cancer on the body politic.

What I meant was, San Antonio was the first large city in the South to completely desegregate. As a San Antonio native, I'm pretty proud of that fact. Although SA is deep in the heart of deep-red Texas, I would like to think increased progressivism is in the great city's future...
