I want to be the first to offer my wholehearted approval of Biden's VP pick.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ was my first choice for VP all along.

The other possibilities are great people, too, don't get me wrong.

But....

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ is the best choice.

6. They're all good. I'd be happy with any for VEEP,

and importantly, any for president, because the VP has to be competent to be president.

Oh, and any one of them would wipe Pence on the floor in a debate. He's a robotical dullard.

7. Yep. It's an embarrassment of riches.

I like 'em all, and don't have a favorite.

That's got to count for a LOT.

He's got a deep bench to draw from.

14. I hope he picks a Progressive which should pull the Party closer together.

If Hillary had picked a Progressive the Bernie or Bust crowd liked, would we even have baby donnie as prez?

18. Totally trashing your idea. Total bullshit.

The Bernie or bust that were just that. These are people who booed John Lewis. Total ideologues. Still plenty here.

If you boo John Lewis you are dead to me. And if someone was willing to boo John Lewis, the greatest living American at the time, they were not voting for Hillary. No way in hell. Or Vote for anyone who could win unless he was named Bernie. Wish we could identify them now. Because I’m sure most of the would deny they did such a thing.

I’m a moderate on DU but a Social Democrat to most Americans. Anyone who would boo John Lewis should be purged from the party. Because they don’t understand what it means to be a Democrat. And lots of ‘progressive’ Bernie supporters did just that. Booed John Lewis. Who now lays in state in the Capital.

And what did Bernie do? Did he charge the stage and reprimand His delegates and explain that John Lewis had almost been killed fighting for civil rights and was a man to be honored? No, he sat there grinning like the cat that ate the canary. I fucking saw it on television. The most disgusting thing I have ever seen.

Before you respond please read about the original Southern Progressives. Woodrow Wilson, Huey Long and Theodore Bilbo. Read their progress policies. Understand why we Southern Democrats reject the label.

Too many on DU watched as ‘progressives’ booed the great John Lewis. We will never forget. And in my case will never forgive.

20. Sorry, don't need to read up on trees when I'm looking at the forest.

In 2016 the DNC (being run by oligarchs) pushed progressives to the back of the room making the Bernie or bust
crowd feel unwelcome in the Democratic Party. So they choose to vote for trumpig, green, or not at all. We need
as many people as possible voting for Democrats, not a divided Party. If Joe picks Kamala Harris, a true
progressive, he'll be pulling the Party together instead of repeating the DNC's 2016 mistake. PS, I'm not a big
Bernie fan, although I do like some of his ideas. Hopes this clarifies what I originally was trying to say. And thanks for being a John Lewis fan as I am.

Hey, I'm on board whoever the woman is. We have an abundant group to choose from and I'm sure whoever gets the nod will do just fine for the American people.
