But whenever they do, he responds with more lies, insisting there's lots of evidence for whatever he said, that it's being widely reported by the media, etc.

How should interviewers respond to that? Keep arguing with him? Stand up and tell him there's no point in continuing the interview if he's going to be dishonest? (I would like to see that.) Instead, they just move on with the interview.
