she is not liked by the "new" republican party and can be a force of change for other moderate GOP'ers to switch parties NOW

McConnell can't do much unless Lisa agrees. She may switch someday but it won't be now.

and democrats gain 7 or 8 seats, this would give her some power with in the democratic caucus in 2021
