I hope when trump crashes and burns he somehow takes the whole party down
Or at least the biggest enablers. It’s not so far fetched, you know he’ll drag as many as possible and try to blame them. But I hope it goes beyond just the obvious that they allowed him to do all that he’s done. We’ve all wondered what he has on these people that makes they so subservient. It’s most likely he just passes on what Putin tells him because Vlad has all the goods. But what if trump himself has copies of the receipts? I could see him having a hissy self pity party and taking everyone down with him. I’ve mentioned before the parallels to Hitler and at the end he did his best to see Germany utterly destroyed because they were unworthy.

4. Isn't Trump halfway there?
He's screwed the Executive Branch by getting rid of all the professionals and replacing them with his idiots and sycophants.
He's damaged the Judicial Branch with his packing the courts and his defiance of judicial decisions. He's tried his best to dominate the Legislative Branch by coercing his Republican cohorts to back him no matter what. Fortunately, Democrats took over the House and Speaker Pelosi has been masterful at keeping pressure on the Administration. I agree with you, Skittles: Trump doesn't give a FUCK about this country. He has to be defeated in November or he will burn down America. |

2. He's already is dragging down the republican party
And he will intentionally hurt them for revenge . He knows he's losing very badly now, so look for him to act out towards republicans and even his supporters , who he'll hurt the worse. That's his pattern . Expect lots of threats coming from trump now.

5. This is why...
I still think he will drop out of the race in late Sept. or early Oct. This way he can do maximum damage to the GOP on his way out. He hates the GOP and always has. He hates all politicians and has only ever seen them as a means to his ends.
The GOP should pay the price forever for the decision to go with him. GOTV! |

6. Hope, but don't count on it, and support action to undermine them
The Right still has a full array of media outlets whose business model spreading "alternative facts" and churning up bile. Most of that will feel no incentive to change, and will just shift into "Corrupt Marxist Democrats Destroying The Country ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!" mode. Fostering that hate is what Republicans have relied on since the '70s to give them winning numbers. They don't really want to change that, they just want to restore the good old days of the Bush administration.
Support policies that work toward the breakup of concentrated media ownership. Also support building our own media systems to advocate for our viewpoints daily and counter their lies on a constant basis. Repetition is key, and we need places to repeat things where general audiences can hear them. And to provide the sort of familiar touchbase that helps GOTV efforts. |
